TIN WHISTLE: Classes commence tomorrow (Friday) after school 3 pm – 4 pm. Children should have a “d” tin whistle.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK (JAN 26TH – JAN 30th):
We will celebrate “Grandparents Day” on Tuesday January 27th with Mass in the school sports hall at 1.30 pm.

SAFETY: Since moving to the new school we have tried to streamline moving 260 children around the new building, up and down stairs and to and from classrooms in a safe manner.

Some organisational issues to help:-

1. Bell rings at 9.15 am.
* Children should be in their lines (supervised from 9 am) and leave from hall/yard with their class teacher.
* Classes commence at 9.20 am.
* All children enter by the back door unless the weather is very bad.
* Parents, please avoid going to classrooms once classes have commenced.
* Check in with our secretary if you have a message for the teacher.

2. The drop-off area is working well and thanks to everyone for their
co-operation.
* Remember, if you are leaving your car use the parking bay.

3. The overflow car park (Junior Play Area) is helping traffic congestion
at 3 pm.
* Parking close to the pedestrian crossing inside the main gate blocks the flow of traffic, but that has improved.
* On wet days traffic volume increases – please be patient. It takes
7 – 10 minutes for the car park to clear.
* Where possible reverse in – drive out!
* Always remember, your child’s safety is our priority.
